A red Bordeaux-style blend consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), Merlot (25%) and Syrah (5%).
The Finis Terrae blend is aged for 14 months in French oak and bottled unfiltered. Dark red in color, with a good amount of dark berry fruit with hints of pepper and spice. Medium-body red blend with fairly heavy tannins, but finishes smoothly. The wine received 90 points from The Wine Advocate.

With so many mediocre wines from Chile flooding the country, it’s nice to discover a very tasty Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile.
Produced by the Koyle winery in the Alto Colchagua region, this Cabernet has lots of character with plenty of dark berry and plum fruit. Low acidity, a slightly smokey fragrance and medium tannins. This would be a good red for some grilled meats.
The Koyle winery is owned by the Undurraga family (now the 5th generation) and grapes for this wine have been hand picked and aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.
